Lance Pierson is an actor who brings words to life.  He has created many humorous and moving entertainments, delighting a wide variety of audiences from churches to literary festivals and the Edinburgh Fringe.  He performs Bible passages, the work of poets from William Shakespeare to John Betjemen, sketches from Music Hall and even the literature of Cricket!

In this one-off performance for us here in Nottingham, Lance will be performing the whole of Mark's Gospel ... on a simple stage with just a table and chair, and of course the words of the Bible itself.

This evening will strip away all the hype and controversy to look again at the man Jesus Christ ... who he is and what he came to do.  It is powerful.  It is moving.  And Jesus Christ himself is very, very intriguing ...
